This grassroots movement is powered by people on the autism spectrum\, their families and friends\, service providers\, schools\, businesses and local volunteers. Walkers advocate and take action for the diverse needs of the autism community. Their efforts help generate funds that fuel innovative research and make connections to critical lifelong supports and services. Join the movement today: Register for an Autism Speaks Walk near you at www.AutismSpeaks.org/Walk. \nHow Far is the Walk?\nThe Autism Speaks Walk-Orange County is roughly 3.1 miles. This walk is at your own pace and can be completed as quickly or as slowly as you feel comfortable. Walkers\, strollers\, and wheelchairs are all welcome. \nWhat Time should I arrive? \nRegistration opens at 9:00am\nOpening Ceremonies begin at 10:00am\nWalk Begins at 10:30am\nEvent concludes around 1:00pm \nWho needs to register? \nEveryone that will be participating at the Walk MUST register either online or the day of at the registration tent. DESCRIPTION:Autism Speaks Walk is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds in the autism community. This grassroots movement is powered by people on the autism spectrum\, their families and friends\, service providers\, schools\, businesses and local volunteers. Walkers advocate and take action for the diverse needs of the autism community. Their efforts help generate funds that fuel innovative research and make connections to critical lifelong supports and services. Join the movement today: Register for an Autism Speaks Walk near you at www.AutismSpeaks.org/Walk. \nHow Far is the Walk?\nThe Autism Speaks Walk-Orange County is roughly 3.1 miles. This walk is at your own pace and can be completed as quickly or as slowly as you feel comfortable. Walkers\, strollers\, and wheelchairs are all welcome. \nWhat Time should I arrive? \nRegistration opens at 9:00am\nOpening Ceremonies begin at 10:00am\nWalk Begins at 10:30am\nEvent concludes around 1:00pm \nWho needs to register? \nEveryone that will be participating at the Walk MUST register either online or the day of at the registration tent. Kids included! We strongly encourage pre-registration! \nDOWNLOAD FORM \nWhere should I park? \nComplimentary parking is available in the parking lots off of East Gene Autry Way. \nWhat should I bring?\nAll donations – Credit Cards\, Cash and Checks! You may purchase Autism Speaks Swag at the merchandise tent and food from the Food Trucks. \nWhat should I NOT bring?\nPlease leave our four legged friends at home unless they are service animals. Animals are not permitted on the venue. \nNo drones or hoverboards allowed. \nWill there be food and water?\nYes\, water will be provided at the venue.
